Description
In the midst of the pristine slope in Bukovje in Bizeljsko, where vineyard has been growing for centuries, the Babič family house stands. From here there is a wonderful view of the valley with the center of Bizeljsko and the church of Sv. Lovrenc and nearby wine-growing hills. The homestead is surrounded by vineyards whose noble fruit ripens in the basement, which is decorated with an extensive collection of majolica jars, from the smallest one, which holds only a centiliter to the right giants, from the simplest ones known throughout Slovenia, to three interconnected ones. The collection includes over 1500 specimens from 65 countries. Each one carries his own story and some of them get to know when collector and their owner present them to you when viewing the collection. You can try to drink from a bilicum, which requires some skills. The presentation of the collection is followed by the wine tasting.
