Description
Tasting Posavje is an annual series of culinary and wine events held in August and September.
Under the Tasting Posavje brand, registered and protected in 2020 at the initiative of local restaurateurs and other suppliers of local ingredients, cuisine, and wine, chefs, winemakers, brewers, pastry shops, and producers of local products come together.
Through the Tasting Posavje brand, these providers, together with the Center for Entrepreneurship and Tourism Krško, have strengthened over a decade of collaboration in developing gastronomy in the Posavje region. Currently, 24 providers are included in the Okusi Posavja brand, listed with their offerings at https://www.okusiposavja.si/en/.
Each year, the best ingredients, fine wines, and outstanding hosts mark the most flavorful month in Posavje under the slogan FRESH – TASTY – LOCAL. The series includes tastings, educational events, and the Okusi Posavja Street Festival in the historic center of Krško, where around 10 providers of culinary specialties, wine, and beer pamper visitors.
