In the Brežice Castle, a monument of immovable heritage, since 1949 the Museum of Posavje, Brežice has been functioning, representing the heritage of Posavje from the earliest days to the present.

Castle Brežice is also a place for: weddings in one of the most beautiful baroque halls in Slovenia, concerts, various cultural events and ceremonies in the Knight’s Hall, various lectures, literary evenings, cultural events, workshops …, summer concerts in the castle yard, filming and photographing in the castle ambient and Knight’s Hall, handicraft and festive fairs in the castle yard, various pedagogical programs.
